AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 143x24, COMPILED
LAWS OF UTAH, 1907, RELATING TO BOUNTY
ON ANIMALS AND BIRDS.
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah:
1 Section 1. That Section 143x24, Compiled Laws of
2 Utah, 1907, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
3 as follows:
4 143x24. The county clerk of each county shall keep
$ a true account of the moneys paid out under the pro-
6 visions of Chapter 3, Title 9, Compiled Laws of Utah,
7 1907, and the number of species of animals, or English
8 sparrows, and other birds for which bounties have been
9 paid, and whenever the amount so paid reaches the sum
10 of $50 or more, the clerk shall present said account, sworn
Xi to by him as being true and correct, to the State auditor,
12 who shall draw his warrant upon the State treasurer for
13 one-half of said amount, which shall be paid by said
14 treasurer out of any money not otherwise appropriated,
15 and forwarded by him to the treasurer of said county;
16 provided, that the total amount to be paid by the State
17 to any one county in any year under the provisions of
18 the above mentioned title, shall not exceed $500.
