Flags lowered in Honor of Staff Sgt. Gregson Gourley
Salt Lake City - Utah Governor Jon M. Huntsman, Jr. has authorized the lowering of the Flag of
the United States of America and the Flag of the State of Utah to half staff, Friday, March 3,
2006. The flags shall be flown at half-staff on all state facilities from sunrise to sunset in honor
and memory of Staff Sgt. Gregson Gourley. Mr. Gourley was killed in the line of duty while
serving with the 101st Airborne Division in Hawijah, Iraq. Funeral services are scheduled for
March 3, 2006.
