I. The meeting was called to order by Jeff Johnson at 2:05 P.M.
II. Introduction of New Records Committee Members.
Several members of the committee were new and were introduced by Jeff
Johnson: Will Fehr, retired editor of the Salt Lake Tribune; Joan F. Kelly,
records manager from Thiokol Corporation; Jean Bickmore White, citizen
member; and Marie G. Korth, recorder/clerk from Box Elder County.
III. Term of Office for State Records Committee Members
A. The term of office for Max Evans, Director of State History and Tom Allen,
State Auditor will remain in effect as long as they remain in office or vacate
that position. Jean Bickmore White's term, as citizen member, will be four
years, which is set by the law. Jeff Johnson, the Executive Secretary to the
committee, has been appointed by the governor as his designee. His term
length is at the discretion of the governor.
