The first item of business was an appeal hearing, Brent Poll vs. South Weber City.
Before the hearing began Ms. Bell reported on her previous relationship with Mayor
Dickamore through the League of Cities and Towns. She stated that it would have no
impact on her decision in the hearing.
Mr. Poll presented his opening statement saying that he did not believe South Weber
City had justification for withholding the denied records which were minutes and tape
recordings of closed meetings. He also challenged the propriety of the closed
meetings. Mr. Poll said furthermore the City Manager indicated that there may have
been more records withheld.
